Our Story

Our story begins a little over a decade ago, within the halls of Prince of Peace Christian School in Plano, Texas. We were acquaintances when Andrew’s not-so-secret crush on Sophia eventually made its way back to her. Soon, passing each other in the halls turned into conversations, and conversations turned into our first coffee shop rendezvous, which, unbeknownst to us, would become the first of hundreds.

We found every excuse to return to that same Starbucks to “study,” where hours over coffee quickly became the beginning of something much more. Before long, we came to the shared realization that we were helplessly in love. When Sophia left for College Station and Andrew remained in high school, we spent a year apart, determined to make this thing of ours work.

The following year brought us both to Oklahoma, and we quickly learned the stretch of highway between us by heart. Through college and every season since, we’ve continued to grow alongside one another. What began with two teenagers sharing “study” dates has become more than a decade of building a life and loving each other fiercely through it all. Now, we’re ready for our most exciting chapter yet: becoming husband and wife.
